Never Lose Infinite Hope

This last Sabbath, May 17, 2025, our members met before services to pray. As we did so, we all heard about all the pain our church family is facing at this point in our lives. They say that when it rains, it pours. Our church family is going through a lot. The human tendency is to feel hopeless. Like all of this will continue with no end in sight. But . . . there is always hope.

Aristotle, that Greek philosopher of old, once said, "Hope is the dream of a waking man." The fact that we are still alive means there is hope. Hope is like the oxygen that we need to breathe. Emily Dickinson adds this thought, "Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in on the shoulder and sings the tune without the words and never stops at all."

Just one more thought, "We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope." Martin Luther King, Jr. This thought is a great reminder that disappointments are inevitable, but the hope that is infinite is never lost! As we struggle as a church family with the multiplicity of issues in our lives. May you as a family member of Milton know and understand . . . we love you all. We, as your leaders, pray for you all.

This Sabbath, may you and your loved ones feel the presence of God in your lives. May you sense that you are in the best place you can be . . . in the palm of the Master Jesus! May you understand that God is still in control and has an incredible plan for your life! God bless you and Happy Sabbath!

So, until the next time, this is pastor Tello reminding you that thoughts do change lives!
