WHAT CAN BE DONE WITH MOMENTS WASTED?

Can you believe it? It's the last day of the month of August 2024! Is it just me or is time (especially this year) going by really fast?s Between birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, celebrations, you name it . . . we have all seen the months fly by and we are all left with a sense of . . . where did the time go? Now, if you are anything like me, as time has been going by so fast, you have not used your time as well as you could have.

What can be down with those moments wasted, the time squandered, the life that has left us behind? Redeem that time! The Bible say, "Redeeming the time, because the days are evil." Ephesians 5:16, KJV. Every day you have a pulse, you have an opportunity to redeem the time. How? First, take that time to spend with the Master Jesus. Allow Him to speak into your life. Allow Him to change your life. Allow Him to direct your life.

As you leave your time with the Master, work on what He has impressed you to do. If an impression comes strongly into your mind, don't procrastinate . . . act, now, on that impression and do what God is asking you to do. Next, be intentional with the lives of those you have been entrusted with. Spend time with your family, your loved ones, your friends. Why? Because the things you have acquired in life are not going to be as meaningful as the time you have spent with the ones you love!

Finally, take time to enjoy the life you have. Too many of us spend our lives waiting for the moment when we can finally enjoy life. When we will finally retire. Or even just have time to rest . . . but alas . . . that time may never come to many of us. Do it now! Enjoy the life God has given you . . . even if the life you are currently living is hard and frustrating. At the very least . . . it's a life to live. You can decide how that life ends.

May this Sabbath find you living your best life. May you this Sabbath find the rest you need to love those that need your love.

So, until the next time, this is Pastor Tello reminding you that thoughts do change lives!
